Wedding on a sand bank

Right after the wedding, the first “wedding trip” on a traditional dhow boat will take you back to the shore. It sounds like a fairy tale, yet it can become a reality.

• Fixing the date and place of the ceremony with a Civil Status official.
• Submitting the required documents to the registry office of Tanzania.
• Marriage ceremony conducted by a Civil Status official.
• On the day of the ceremony, transfer from the hotel to the wedding location and back (for up to 4-5 guests).
• Private boat charter (traditional dhow with flower decoration).
• Decoration of the wedding location: bamboo wedding gazebo adorned with flowers, ceremony table.
• A bouquet and a buttonhole for the groom, made from local flowers.
• A bottle of sparkling wine.
• Legalization of the wedding certificate.
